The wagon’s compression results: 140, 140, 140, and 61 PSI. Cylinder one has a serious sealing problem, but the cause is not confirmed yet. The leak-down test is next, and the rest of the project is on hold for now. youtu.be/QzLcaaBWzaw

New BWG video! I finally swapped the dashboard lights over to LEDs on my 1985 Chrysler Town & Country. It's not the biggest repair I've done, but it's another step toward getting the wagon back to where it deserves to be. Every little win counts.

Headliner repair, Part 2! The first attempt worked, but I wasn't satisfied. Another pack of twist pins made a huge difference, and the wagon is looking a lot tidier inside now. Slow progress is still progress, and that's kind of what this whole project is about.

I spent part of today sanding the rest of the roof and hood on the wagon. I also learned that the orbital sander works a lot better than the sander/polisher I bought from Temu. Still had to hand sand all the grooves, but progress is progress. The wagon is getting a little better every day.

Today's experiment inspired by my 7-year-old son. He asked why I wasn't wet sanding the primer, which was a fair question because I honestly didn't know if it would make much difference. So we tested it. Wet sanding on one side. Dry sanding on the other. The result? New video is up on YouTube.
