The fields that grow soy beans for oil or corn for fuel don't do much to put food on the plates of Ohioans. Those farmers aren't in need of help. Small scale farms that grow produce for local markets... those farmers need assistance. Commodities are subsidized, local honey and cucumber are not.

So I got my mom... republican, single issue voter, catholic... to vote for Acton (D)for Governor of Ohio. I told mom that were it not for Acton and her covid 19 policies in Ohio we would have lost one or two years earlier. So she gave us at least another year with dad. I truly believe this.

I'll bet they didn't cut it down because when you cut a cottonwood, it cries. The trees take up so much water once you cut a branch it starts weeping right away. No way they'd want folks to see that. Think how powerful the poster of a "crying tree" would be.
