Just finished Sea of Stars. Wow is all I can say. Wonderful story telling and an amazing soundtrack! Gameplay reminds me of old-school RPGs, but isn't stale and has a fresh take on turn based mechanics. Starting the DLC and end game this week.

Finished the REPLACED demo by @replacedgame.bsky.social. Based off what I played, this game is going to be awesome! Fun combat and controls. Environments and lighting are wonderful to experience and look at. The soundtrack is ungodly good. This game is, as the kids once said, on fleek!

Finished Europa last night. Super cute, narrative driven platformer. While the game is on the shorter side (~6hrs), it tells a wonderful story about a father and son, loss, love and growth. The soundtrack is moving and wonderful to say the least. store.steampowered.com/app/2214880/...

MainFrames was a short but fun puzzle-platformer. Beat it in just under 5hrs and had a 97% completion on my first playthrough. Neat! As a puzzle-platformer I give it 7.5/10. Floaty and semi-unintuitive controls holds it back. Overall I give it 8/10. Super fun and challenging.

MainFrames started off great! Levels 1-3 were exactly what I was expecting. Level 4? Never have I seen a game go from chill to hostile so quick! The environment was such a change and the controls weren't so intuitive. Steep power curve. Probably player skill issue. I'll be back for more later!

Finished up Stray last night. Super fun story (parallels our current world in a more drastic, very realistic way) and gameplay set in a futuristic city filled with Companion bots, drones, and Zurks. And you get to play as a cat! How could you not like it?! Solid game for sure. Giving it an 8.5/10.

Escaping Hojo's lab was the easy part. I wasn't expecting the fight with Rufus to take a souls-like turn. Now I see why some people say they don't enjoy the combat system in the Final Fantasy 7 remakes. Won't stop us from saving the planet though! I still love this game! 🖤
