Man, I really miss being able to stream. And now that Amazon is forcing AI shit on Twitch, a part of me doesn't even want to use it anymore. We really need a better, alternate platform that listens to the user base and isn't fueled by gambling. But that isn't profitable 🤷‍♂️

I love how niche of a game this is to 100%. The hoops, trials and tribulations you had to go through to do this is truly.. epic. 😉

So ya win some, you lose some. I get that. Keep up the great work, I'm sure it'll get easier with time. ☺️👍

Sorry to hear the new shift is a time eater! I do hope you find a way to still make time to enjoy things!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!💗💖💜💕 I'm going to miss streaming, but maybe I'll still hang out in the server and do something there even if it's just studying.

Today was my birthday. 🎂 Despite trying to save every penny to move out of the country, my husband took me to my favorite dinner spot 🥰 and I was content with just letting it pass like any normal day. Honestly, if I'm able to move to Japan this December, that would be worth 5 birthdays easily!!

I recently remembered that I bought the Animal Crossing Pocket Camp game a long time ago, and I've been trying to befriend all the animals and decorate my camp, cabin, and camper. I don't have anywhere to share these pictures except here. So will you humor me from time to time.

Hey~🥹I really wanted to be more active with streaming and give y'all something meaningful in exchange for donations to help with the move, but with school work and the immigration process, I just don't have the juice for it. I'm going to miss you so much! Can't wait to see you when I get to Japan!✨💜

Hello friends! I'm Brit, a Variety Vtuber Witch. I like to share my thoughts on the occult, the mundane and anything in between. It may get a little chaotic, but above all, this is a safe space. With ...

So I've been thinking I want to make content about what it's like to just up and move to Japan and I'm wondering if people would be genuinely interested in that content AND where to post about it (like in video format). Tiktok is dying on Sept 17th, so do I need to make an insta for American peeps?

BritTheWitch @britthewitch.bsky.social · 21/08/2025

I find it immensely hard to ask for help, because I'd rather be in a position to help others. But if you have the means, it would mean all the world to me if you could donate to my moving fund so that I can leave this horrible country for a more peaceful and stable life. #blacksky #fleeing #help

Nick and I will be streaming more regularly from now until we leave the U.S, not only because it's fun but also to hopefully raise a little more money for our moving fund. I'm thinking of doing a Donathon or something, with like fun challenges. I'm not creative in this way, but I'll think of sth.

010

BritTheWitch @britthewitch.bsky.social · 09/08/2025

I should probably start using this account more huh? As much as I hate meta, I still have Insta for my closest friends back home. Maybe I'll still make tiktok style videos to share on there. But it's not really the same as posting to the ether like it is on tiktok. Oh well~

010

BritTheWitch @britthewitch.bsky.social · 09/08/2025

It's actually unfortunate that TikTok might actually disappear fr from the U.S. because I was just starting to make more like lifestyle content on there and really finding my voice and style. I'm glad I'll have it in Japan though, it'll help me stay utd with trends there.

I'm gonna say this now, so I don't have to say it later. If you see me "idolizing" moving to Japan on here, no I'm not. I've done my research, I learned the history, weighed the pros and cons and I STILL think I'd be a lot happier there. So do not judge me that I've decided to move to Japan.

You know, we really used to be a country back when everyone was singing about "Poise and Rationality". Now we got idiots chiming into politics like they've never heard of closing a goddamn door, and it shows. I'm tired.

I've been feeling so boujee since I finally upgraded my toner and introduced an ampoule in my routine! 🤩 I haven't seen any visible differences yet, but my skin feels incredibly moisturized and I think the texture is slowly improving. I sent a friend some products too, I hope she likes them! ☺️

I recently bought a few new books for my witch library. Two I'm super excited for are The House Witch and The Witch's Apothecary! I've recently realized my affinity for hearth magic, so I'mexcited to learn more. And I want to expand my knowledge on how to properly build and use my own apothecary.

I'm so happy I captured some really nice pictures of the lunar eclipse last night. I took a moment use its power for manifesting and showing gratitude as well. The weather was absolutely perfect and the sky was so clear.

Whenever I'm sick, I crave Korean soups. My favorite is Blood Sausage Soup 순대국, but I also looove Soybean Soup 된장찌개. And if I have the energy I'll make Korean style rice porridge. I've been sick lately, so I've gone to my local Korean market two days in a row and ordered a bunch of yummy soups! 😷☺️

With all these extremely specific Spotify playlists, why isn't there one specifically for "emo music for the the scene black girl living in a predominantly white town and no she's not trying to be white"? Because that would actually be a throwback for me! #blacksky #nostalgia

Also speaking of magick, I should look into a travel altar kit. Because I won't have access to my tools and I'll need to restock my apothecary from scratch once I move. 🤩 Oooh just thinking of the adventure to find new and familiar materials excites me!!✨️✨️

Reason #19: They have strict gun laws and don't have school shootings somewhere in the country every. single. day. As a teacher, that affects me and my students greatly, and I wouldn't have to worry about that in other countries.

000

BritTheWitch @britthewitch.bsky.social · 06/11/2024

Reason #47: They have walkable cities and an abundance of public transportation that can get you to your destination just as quickly as a car.

000

BritTheWitch @britthewitch.bsky.social · 06/11/2024

Reason #12: The food is much better for my body. It's filled with nutrients that my body can actually use, and it doesn't make me sick every time I eat it.

000

BritTheWitch @britthewitch.bsky.social · 06/11/2024

Reason #22: Healthcare is a given right and/or at least actually affordable in most other developed countries.

000

BritTheWitch @britthewitch.bsky.social · 06/11/2024

This country hates black people and even moreso black women. I'm not welcome here even though this place is all I've ever known. But I'm done trying to make a dying system give me basic human decency. So I'm out. Like no matter what happens after 4 years.

I'm gonna start giving my reasons why I want to leave the U.S. In no particular order. Reason #11: Americans are sooooooo ANNOYING!! People do not parent their children in public and have unbridled audacity and entitlement.
