I have found that folks from the big cities on the west coast sound pretty much the same. So people from Vancouver (me), Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, LA & San Diego. The accents change once you cross the coastal mountains. Also in some niche areas like the San Fernando Valley.

We had access to a cabin in Hope when I was a kid. Visiting the tunnels was a regular thing. But this was the 70s and there were no bridges, so we couldn't walk the full length. Here is a pic with the first bridge in 1987. Very different from now! The greenery was to hide the bridge for a movie.
