if you're feeling down about genAI please remember that it is a) intensely unpopular b) immensely unprofitable c) being propped up by people who NEED it to succeed, will spend any amount to create an illusion of a win but still keep failing and leaving the people they work with caked in shit

Thank you to the incomparable @brittbairdart.bsky.social for this artwork! My first novel Knight Errant follows the romance of a big, blunt, foul-tempered knight and the gentle, diminutive lord whose life she keeps on saving. All set in a dieselpunk-adjacent vision of the American Rust Belt.

#fatober day 20: Fat Fairy/Nymph I slowed down on posts because I was excited to make more finished pieces. I think next year, I’ll definitely make less prompts or maybe have a quicker style 🤷‍♀️ I’ll be posting the rest of the Fatober prompts periodically until they’re all finished!

Thank you!! I pull inspo from Leyendecker and other illustration masters of history. The princess was inspired by a Talbot Hughes piece ☺️

Update: my account was restored! I still have no idea why it happened. It never told me. Fuck Meta btw. My algorithm is such garbage now. 90% ads.

When I looked on Reddit, it seemed like a toooon of people lost their accounts because an AI bot went crazy with its combing through and censorship. Either way, I’m really really hoping an appeal works for me. There are so many other accounts posting way more disturbing things and they aren’t banned

Britt Baird Art @brittbairdart.bsky.social · 21/10/2025

Yeah. Im so frustrated and heartbroken at the loss of sweet comments from people saying they feel represented by my art. I honestly don’t care about fetish content. Goon all you want. But I don’t want my art being misinterpreted or misrepresented. Being fat doesn’t make me fetish content :(

Britt Baird Art @brittbairdart.bsky.social · 21/10/2025

Is this legit? Why would Instagram have a gmail for their help desk? I’m willing to try it but kind of worried lol.

110

Britt Baird Art @brittbairdart.bsky.social · 21/10/2025

Me too :( I’m not hopeful tho. Fat people are so demonized and sexualized, the bot looking at my account will probably just see my work as inappropriate.

I’m about to lose over a decade of work to build my clientele. Losing my account and followers affects my freelance work. I had actually started to gain some traction to 10k too. I think it’s because of comments on my posts calling it fetish art. Which it is not. And now I’m being punished for it
