There's still time to be part of a live art performance by International artist A K Dolven as part of the University’s 150th birthday. Email public-art@bristol.ac.uk to be part of this really special event (or come along on the day to watch!)

1.45pm, complimentary lunch and chat

Join artists, musicians, and dancers to work on a one-off, shared creative project. It is a chance to work with a renowned international artist and find out more about the University’s Cultural Collections. 

The performance will take place on 
Saturday 10 October 2026 in Royal Fort Gardens
No prior experience in performance is necessary.

Arts & Social Sciences Library update! We'll be partially reopening on Monday 20 October, giving access to upper floor study spaces and collections. From w/c 17 November, the full building will reopen, including new enquiry hub and creative lab. We can't wait to welcome you all back!

The Arts & Social Sciences Library is currently closed while we refresh the ground floor. The work was due to be finished by the start of the academic year, but due to building delays we were not able to open when we originally planned and will re-open mid-October. We're really sorry for the delay!
