Here's another angle. This could and should be a massive painting.

Guy dressed as Spiderman lifts a fist ready to punch Jake Lang (or one of the other racists) it's not immediately clear who is the target. There's a large white cross held by one of the racists which is right next to Spiderman. A bunch of the racists are flinching and ducking beneath Spiderman's fist. There's also an American flag held by a guy (not sure of his affiliation) in a military uniform. It's to the right of the cross.

Opinion: this could easily be a Renaissance painting in its layout. Or an action-packed comic book cover. Spiderman is almost perfectly framed with the cross right next to him on his right. And with the racists flailing beneath him.

I'd probably love it. Would be the second book with cockroach perspectives that I've read. (This one was quite good. Southern Gothic meets entomology. Learned quite a bit about cockroaches & their social structures.)

Maybe the most fun thing to do in games with a photo mode is to create a dozen photos and then stitch them together into a large landscape. Nothing more fun than seeing the details of cities which have never existed.

Made a panorama of a set of skyscrapers from the game Transport Fever 2. The camera view is roughly at the 20th story level. Many of the buildings have their top levels cut off. Most of the landscape are clusters of tall buildings but there's a small patch of green to the upper right. In the center, is a residential skyscraper with a house-like pitched roof on the top. A small touch of something akin to home in what is otherwise an almost cold view of buildings. Some of the buildings, including the one in the center, are giving off clouds of steam. Must be chilly in this imaginary world.

Kansas. Standing by the old quarry. Heard owl hoots. The occasional coyote yip. Fortunately, did not hear any footsteps. That's the sort of place where Hitchhiker would show up. Ask you for a light. And then no one would ever see you again.

I think that's light pollution from a nearby village and not part of the aurora. Below the green white band of light is the black horizon. A single tree breaks it up. Next to the tree are a line of powerline poles. Also as black as the horizon.

A skeet sized Christmas ghost story. Published in 1914 in El Paso Herald's "Daily Novelette" column. I found it in Valencourt's Book of Victorian Christmas Ghost Stories, Volume 4.

This was my favorite book when I was small. Even 40 years ago, no one liked those who whined about purple houses.
