This is an amazing comic - what drew me in was how colorful every panel is and how important those colors are to the story telling. Can't wait for more on the gods and what sort of fight is brewing ahead for the mc 👀

Finally some good news: I'm finally going to make more money at my job come the end of Sep/into Oct. Hopefully that'll ease some of my stressors and get me drawing again We're getting a general raise from the company AND my 2nd year anniversary pay bump in October... Finally 😩

I'm still actively in hyper fixation mode with Dragonball BUT With the excitement towards Ocarina of Time, wondering if I should dust off a childhood oc that I never got around to drawing... On top of the growing list of drawings to get around to - HOOOO BOI

New pf banner bc I still love that I took the time to do this

A small mothman plush with his wing set on top of a tub filled with old art. Sketchbooks are layered in front of him. Caption: This bad boy can fit so many unfinished projects

I don't remember the name of the app, but my friend also uses one for identifying various plants whenever they're out on walks or hikes! Very helpful for my dumbass that never learned about poisonous plants growing up

Hi I'm a AAA dev who is now indie. It's a depressing time, and it would be uplifting to see games industry folks boycott The Game Awards. Later this year Geoff is going to be handing awards to people who literally use plagiarism machines, after unheard of layoffs. Please just don't go.

If Dolly was our constant reminder that it was Good to be Good, Tim Curry was our reminder that it was Good to be Weird. Embrace your strangeness, sing with Muppets, wear your lingerie with a leather jacket, and fuck with uptight people who hate anything that makes them remotely uncomfortable.

"Don't be mean to people who just like Harry Potter" I will be. That conversation started and ended ten years ago. It no longer holds up to scrutiny. Over the span of a whole Decade, you were unwilling to resolve your dependence on an IP which solely acts as the bankrolling of a genocidal Nazi party

My cat is so bad at watching out the windows that *I* have to show him birds. I have to get excited for him, lift him up, and turn his head. Otherwise he thinks me pointing for him to look is invitation for pets He has witnessed quail, turkey, and just missed a bunch of finches

It's hard to pick up my pen/pencil some times. Recently I've been on a Dragonball hyper fixation, which has helped a little - I would love to share it once I have the time But damn does it feel like there's no time??? Anyways. Thanks if you read this far ❤️‍🔥 genuinely appreciate it. Just tired.

Now I've tried to contemplate tattooing, but it's a whole other skill set AND where I live is expensive for schooling. To be fair, it's with the thought of more money and a flexible schedule, but my drive is wavering bc of how hard it is just to exist right now...

I'm having ideas, I want to draw more often and share them - but I'm my own nag in trying to do things "right". I've been drawing since I was a kid, but it was either never super encouraged by friends/family, or I was expected to get to gallery status somehow. Building a following is also hard!

I've also been having a current struggle with my job where I'm not being paid enough and I want to open commissions so I'm not under $30 until payday every month... but I never feel like I've made it to "that" moment where my work feels worthwhile outside of my friends

Working digitally has tricked my brain into thinking everything needs to be completed: full line art, full color, try to get better at rendering bc no one wants flats - WITH EVERY PIECE My sketchbooks have been placed: "we're not showing these off to anyone but friends. If ever."

I feel a bit bad for how little I have to share these days. With the advance of generative AI and the general state of the world I lost a lot of motivation to engage in social media but also to invest in my art beyond what's practically necessary.

Most good quality games were made before the need to be constantly connected, constantly grinding, competitive... imagine the freedom to just PLAY. It's right there with the old titles! We live in such a saturated time, it wouldn't hurt to back track. I'm currently working on my ps3 collection 🤷‍♀️
