Casually did a bit of money magic and was reminded why I love my practice. <3

Well I WAS going to start my garden today but the wind has other plans, I suppose. Tomorrow it is!

Witches, don't forget to angrily cinnamon your door because you nearly forgot to. Happy first of the month!

Saint work is fascinating. That's not exactly what I asked you to do but I'm thankful anyway! lol

I bought a grow light recently and am just getting sprouts in my sun-deprived office for the first time! This is so exciting for me, I love having living plants as part of my practice and being able to keep them year-round near my sacred space is a great way to connect more thoroughly.

This is the time of year where I tend to dive back into my faith with a bit more gusto, which is always a nice reminder that faith is fluid and ebbs and flows are normal.

Nearly had a heart attack finding out the The Farmer's Almanac is closing down publication after this year. Then I did a bit of fact checking and realized that I use The OLD Farmer's Almanac, which is apparently an entirely different publication and is still going strong.

Happy Samhain, Happy Halloween, and Happy All Saints Eve. I'm spending the day celebrating with sweets, costumes, and some time at my altar. 🎃👻🧟

I love keeping an oracle deck in my purse. I've found that it makes a fantastic travel altar.

Happy Solstice friends!! I won't be celebrating until tomorrow (busy) but I'm hoping your day is bright and wonderful.

Made my own blend of tea using a @harneyandsons.bsky.social black tea base and homegrown roses and lavender and it's so good!! 🍵

This came in today!!! I absolutely love it, @northseapoet.bsky.social, your and Muriel's writing is beautifully moving and full of dynamic, exciting imagery. I can practically hear the forges singing. Well done! #brigiddevotee #goddessbrigid #brigantia #witchsky

The cover of the book Brigantia: Songs of the Exalted by Nico Solheim-Davidson and Muriel Merser. It features a grey-eyed woman with long red hair, wearing a green chiton-style dress trimmed in gold. She has a gold helmet that features a swan, a golden spear in one hand, and a golden orb in the other.

My chamomile is sprouting!!!!!!!! So many things in my garden are sprouting!!!!!! I'm so happy.

I feel like my garden is just going to keep getting bigger and bigger no matter how much space I actually have. I just want so many plants!!

Tonight was one of those nights where mass hit harder than it normally does. That combined with some of the work I was doing earlier in the day makes me feel very connected to my spiritual team and I really appreciate that.

Rosie @brigiddevotee.bsky.social · 18/02/2025

I just recently got a very interesting deck that I might try using in my practice, just as an experiment. Does anyone on #witchsky also play D&D? You might find this interesting...

Rosie @brigiddevotee.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

Started some seeds for my garden and now I'm all excited to make the whole thing. I wanna build the bed, I wanna play in the dirt. Sadly that also means I have to deal with a massive overgrown bed of stickers and weeds that need ripping up...so that's curbing my enthusiasm.

Rosie @brigiddevotee.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

Finally able to buy some starter trays for my garden!!! And I'm going to clean my altar tonight. Hello, Spring, I've missed you dearly. #Imbolc #witchsky

Been doing this White Candle Conspiracy ritual for the past couple of nights & it’s powerful every time. If you haven’t done it yet, it’s simple & you don’t need a pillar candle if you don’t have one. #whitecandle #lightritual #witchsky #pagansky #occultsky

Being able to cook a full meal on your own stove is such a blessing that you don't realize is so important until you're forced to live without it.

I've currently got regular crochet, Tunisian crochet, and knitting projects all going at the same time and I love it. Gives me lots of variety and choice when deciding how to spend my time.

No one ever mentions that one of the dangers of witchcraft is stepping on a candle wax pick in the middle of the night because it fell on the floor point up. Ow my foot. #witchsky

Finally got a proper recipe book, wrote in the blessing, and filled in everything from my janky paper one, which feels nice! Excited to keep it on my kitchen altar for easy access (it's where I keep all my lovely cookbooks). #witchsky #kitchenwitch

Designed a tarot spread for the Epiphany - I'm calling it the Three Kings Spread, but you can call it whatever you like. #witchsky #tarotsky

A depiction of a tarot card layout with simple card outlines and descriptions. The layout puts three cards in a row, with a fourth card positioned to the right and higher up. They are labeled as follows: The Star (far right card): 1. Focus What should you be focusing on? The First King (far left card): 2. Blocks What is blocking your path or challenging your progress? The Second King (middle left card): 3. Motivation What motivates you to continue toward your goals? The Third King (middle right card): 4. Proceeding How should you proceed toward your goals with these things in mind?"

Today's a good day for cleansing and cleaning. Scrubbed down the house to get rid of the funk that's been hanging out lately with Lady Brigid's candle lit for comfort and support. #witchsky

Sometimes witchcraft is beautiful, well-planned rituals with many steps and incantations and lots of energy and power. Sometimes it's bolting to your front door with a big ol' jar of cinnamon at like 4pm going "DAMMIT IT'S THE FIRST OF THE MONTH." #witchsky

I'm learning to knit and it's going...slowly? I think it might be because of the yarn I'm using - Big Twist tends to split a LOT. Still, I think I'm getting a hang of the movements, which is nice.

Been having a great time catching up on witchy reading lately. The local bargain store had a book on candle magic and a Witch of the Forest book (Nature Magick) that I'm enjoying so far; they're simple, beginner reads that have some good reference material. #witchsky
