Anyone who tells me Rose in Chains was good is clearly the victim of a botched lobotomy Death Made Prince was p good - the rune magic (and thinly veiled sign language) was cool w/ VERY accurate OCD representation. Starter Villain was exceptionally stupid. Mate was BAD bad. #SeptemberReads #Booksky

Really late #AugustReads Only ones worth my time were City of Smoke and Brimstone, Dawn of the North, and Gideon the Ninth. I'm sorry, guys, but Red Rising reads like Hunger Games fanfic (derogatory). People say subsequent books are "better" but we're starting so goddamned low already 😅 #booksky

Late but I was on vacation #JulyReads #BookSky A lot of stinkers again this month but I hit my yearly reading goal of 100 books lol. Darien Kassel remains #1 book boyfriend ilysm. DCC series is still fire. I think the rest can go in the trash.

Slow month, but the DCC books are long. Dreamer and Deep Space Warrior was cute. Vanquished was a WTF 0⭐️ "crown me..." series was soooo good until the last like 5% of the second book. DCC series is god-tier on audiobook. Inevitable Ruin was meh, though. Good Girl was mid #JuneReads #Booksky

#MayReads #Booksky Great books this month. DCC is AWESOME on audio. Edge of Darkness series is ♾️⭐️ Raskaraans series was a nice IPB substitute 😁 Time to Shine was classic Reid. Firefly was so sweet until it wasn't. Nothing Wrong was too uncomfortable. Reread Choosing Theo 💅 The rest was trash

#AprilReads #Booksky Almost all stinkers this month. I'm also about halfway through You Did Nothing Wrong be CE Drews but had to stop because I was not getting into it. It's not a DNF, but it's def a pause. Darien Cassel is still babygirl.

#marchreads #booksky Please get a new narrator for the first 3 Game Changer books 😩. Role Model is the best of the series. Ilya is me #sadking Unhinged is either a modern absurdist masterpiece or a mess with no point. Bone Island was so good 😩 and Cyrus is my husband ilysm Dracula dragged a bit.

#FebruaryReads I'm about 60% through Heated Rivalry. Yes I reread Saint and Lights Out... again. 5⭐️ In the Veins of the Drowning, Encyclopaedia of Faeries 0⭐️ Tethered, Playing Mr Perfect Dark Planet Warriors started out good but then nose-dived really fast. The narrator for Game Changer was SO BAD.

Mostly more Ice Planet trash lol. The Vicious Fae series outshined Zodiac Academy by about a bajillion, I'm still surprised ZA gets more hype. Valiant felt like a snuff film for teenagers falling deep into drugs and made me deeply uncomfortable 😅 wtf Holly Black #novemberreads #booksky

This bb is an endangered species but I got to meet her anyway at Medieval Times and my heart exploded. She's a saker falcon named Loralai and I literally had to tuck my hands under my armpits so I'd stop trying to pet her. Her handler gave her lots of kisses though.

Yes I read 23 books this month shut up. Demons Guide to the Afterlife series was surprisingly good. Embrace the Serpent was also very good. I'm now addicted to the Clecanian series (but the incel vibes in Book 4 were gross). Fejo is my husband. Verakko is my boyfriend. #booksky #augustreads #bookish
