One of my favorites of #blackbelliedwhistlingducks. At dusk they fly overhead in my neighborhood in small groups chatting with their whistles as they settle into the trees. Sometimes they talk for hours, like teenagers.

No words to describe the experience of seeing an overhead corona aurora at THE SAME TIME as a total lunar eclipse--this happened last night on our aurora workshop. Crazy experience. The aurora was so bright and the snow glowed green under the blood moon.

Every time I see something like this it reinforces my decision to leave Meta over a year ago. I miss seeing my friends and some of the folks I followed on IG. But if everyone left, we’d have somewhere comparable by now instead of people just fussing about it and failing to with their feet.

We visited some of the Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show while in #Tucson. It was a sight to behold, with some stones weighing thousands of kilograms on display. There were entire dinosaurs. And of course gemstones cut for jewelry and rough for lapidary. Amazing! I loved this one. #gemstones #minerals
