We had a fun 4.4 miler at Papago Park with the #ArizonaRoadRacers to celebrate the end of the summer series. They also gave out the overall age group awards for the entire series. I took 1st for the W50-54 category and my friend Cristina took second.

TEXAS REPUBLICANS DID IT —63 DAYS BEFORE ELECTION DAY Tarrant County, they voted 3–2 to close 92 Election Day polling locations, cutting the number from 316 to 224. More than 100 people showed up to speak out before the vote. Republicans did it anyway. Closing nearly 30% of the polling places.

It was overcast but muggy AF for the #ARRSummerSeries race #4 this morning. I took fifth overall for the women and first in my age group, but it was a tough run. There were several people crossing the finishing and dry-heaving. Oof.

Thank you! We have seen 3 black bears, mama moose and baby, a ton of bald eagles, a ton of sea otters, harbor seals and sea lions, star fish, moon jellyfish, and lion’s main jellyfish, so far. We are in Anchorage now and biking the coastal trail today.

My 19 yo daughter and I just watched this. She was a student at the HS where I teach. I told her if there was a conflict with any of my colleagues I was going to believe them 99% of the time, so she better not give any of them grief. She’s a good kid, and was yelling at the tv & that girl’s parents.
