Public service announcement for UK #LEGO fans, double loyalty points from June 19 to 23. Yes, the weekend before payday. Yes, they do want to bankrupt you. Yes, you’ll buy things anyway. That’s how it works! (Don’t buy things you can’t afford, obviously.)

This is the sort of commitment to free Lego that I like to see.

While the article is literally right that the word “diversity” doesn’t appear, page 7 celebrates inclusivity improvements in the sets themselves and page 13 is dedicated to having an inclusive working environment and improvements made there. The tone certainly hasn’t changed, even if one word has.

Today isn’t the most exciting New Lego Day…But this set commemorating Hulk’s decision that the best solution to Thanos is to drive a customised monster truck directly at him, but with Hulk acknowledging health and safety concerns so putting on a crash helmet is one of the best things ever. #Lego

Some of the pets/animals are already quite Pokémon if you blur your eyes a bit. You wouldn’t need to be a master builder to imagine a MOC of Wooloo based on the Easter Lamb for a start…Lay a Goldfish on its side for Magikarp…Etc.

I didn’t really think about Brickheadz, which is extremely silly as I’m very much building a collection of them…Sets of three evolutions for the original starters would be cool if they work. But the actual humans would suit Brickheadz really well, similar style already.

It's good they've found a new way to print money...New themes for Fortnite, Pokemon and Bluey in the space of a couple of years is *ridiculous*. A good time to be a Lego fan!

#LEGO x #Pokemon coming in 2026! We probably always knew it would happen at some point, didn't we? I'm hoping for sets a little like the Lego Animal Crossing range (WITH POKEMON MINIFIGURES) plus some big 18+ statue sets. What are you hoping for?

I don’t think he’s around much, but I’ve remade the list myself and added you to it. It’s here: go.bsky.app/LCi7yhN Not been around much as real life has been chaos (eg. house we rent being sold) but I’ll get it promoted a bit as I’m sure there are lots more accounts that need adding to it now!

Ah, the very best sort of Lego project. Always fun! I only have space for small builds (literally going to have to move the majority of my belongings around to fit those modulars in, if they're near enough complete)...But the closest I can get to advice is "make sure they have space to breathe"

Rebuild as in "from scratch" or "put back together from parts"? What is it? I got first dibs at a bundle the other day with the Parking Garage, Detective Office and Treehouse in. Some bits new in bags, lots of dust and some bits so massively sundamaged they're unusable. That's keeping me quiet!

If you're celebrating, Happy Valentines Day! And if you're not, absolutely use it as an excuse to build some Lego! Either way, have a great day! #Lego #ValentinesDay

They're great for that. Not seen anything better than the army of frogs on the Bonsai Tree yet... My only mild criticism is that for sets that are clearly going to be bought by people new to Lego, they're often quite complicated builds!

Yup…New Lego flowers every year from now on. Probably a poinsettia at Christmas. Maybe some lunar new year ones…Obviously they’re not seasonal for the summer so you’ll need some more then… This is the way.

Ha, I could have typed that. Love the set, and the Endurance was almost certainly my favourite of last year, but it’s not quiiiite the same as the real thing, is it?!?

Singing along with Meatloaf while building Lego is clearly the best way to spend time. One day your 5 year old will manage to be that cool too, I’m sure…

Commiserations! But I can’t imagine how many applications they get for any job, you must be in the best tiny percentage to have made it into the process at all. Good work getting that far!

I’m going to break and buy the whole Animal Crossing range at some point, fully aware of that, and I bet it happens when they finally give us the museum. The world needs Lego Blathers!

This is such a great build, really looks fantastic. One of those creations where it almost feels like too much thought has gone into it. Just the fact the taxi matches Speed Champions alone is cool. But I really, reallyyyy do not want to think about how much it would cost if they made it! #Lego

If you don’t mind used sets they’re easy to get for much less than that. They might be even cheaper still if you use bricklink and buy the pieces individually. Or even look out for unbuilt bundles that have sets you like that need putting back together. There’s always ways to get cool sets!

Lego do refer to their parts using that terminology, especially common in Technic parts.

Doctor Doom is winning so far! 4 of the 10th Anniversary gold Ninjago figures is fun too, but they’ve gone away again until I get the pieces to build the bases. A small huddle of Lord of the Rings orcs, a couple of the rarer Lone Ranger figures. But the backlog is vast. Lots more to find!

This story is ridiculous, to save you reading it. For a start it’s from years ago, but it’s Lego using generic terminology that mechanics, electricians etc. all use related to identifying connectors as “male” and “female”. It’s nothing to do with Lego as a company, who are clearly not anti-LGBT.

I can’t really have Lego on my desk because of, well, all the Lego on my desk. I’d say about 200 figures in various stages of being sorted at the moment? (And a good handful of fakes. Bah.)

@lollujo.bsky.social Sorry that Sega have tried to spoil the cruise! It’s a good job you’re nailing the Lego content. The videos were well made from the start, but the last few months it’s obvious you’ve got more confident with it too. Have a good holiday!

There is an official Lego set of Barad-dûr: www.lego.com/en-gb/produc... Which is also amazing, but the one in the picture is someone’s own creation. Looks like it’s a bit bigger than the official one, but that is pretty big itself!

Probably unsurprisingly, my girlfriend also quite likes Lego. I don’t think she’d complain much if I got her a Lego set for Valentines Day. And even with that in mind… …I still don’t think this is a great suggestion for a gift idea, Lego. #Lego #ValentinesDay

Very very expensive…But also very cool. I’m sure you’re not alone in spending money in that way and it definitely looks different enough to justify it.

It might be more than that (you’re not wrong about some of their pricing) but I am very very very sure if it did get made it would almost immediately become one of their bestselling sets ever. I’ve not bought any of their art sets and would definitely get it, for a start!

There’s a really cool Taylor Swift art set based on the Eras tour poster that is in review for the Lego Ideas scheme currently. Doesn’t mean it’ll get made into a set, but still a cool creation. ideas.lego.com/projects/538...

You are going to make a lot of jealous people on here with that Lego set! Such a shame they didn’t make more, feels the ideal theme for it.

One thing about the weather is that it makes dismantling much quicker, just open a window near the set you wish to destroy! (Nobody do this.)

The second I saw the leak I knew it’d be true based on how much Lego loves any theme with a pirate ship. I’m amazed they managed to resist One Piece for so long, frankly. Maybe it was the name? A Lego set with only one piece wouldn’t make much money…

That’s the level of early commitment I like to hear! I would probably recommend shortish but strong nails so you can still separate things easily. If you get a bigger set Lego usually includes a brick separator that can help with awkward bits. But nails are much quicker. Lego is ace though, enjoy!

To all the people receiving red weather warnings and are most affected by #StormEowyn, you know how there are lots of Fridays where you want to have a lay-in and then stay in all day building Lego, but you have to go out? Today you can do that. Look after yourselves and stay safe!

Welcome to Lego! That spaceship set is ace, as someone who was playing with Lego spaceships the first time around even though it looks different it is hugely reminiscent, definitely the same energy. Glad they’re still making people want to start a collection!

My commiserations. I was much too not-owning-an-Amiga to buy AP at the time, but I read basically all of it like I’d read a comic series years later. (After I’d stopped reviewing games for a “living”.) His work was needlessly amazing. It made me a better writer, too. Sorry for your loss. RIP.

Big, big fan of the bogeyman. But yes, it’s a really good set overall. I think that they’ve basically nailed the format now, DND was amazing too. A shame we’re not getting another until autumn based on rumours, weird little F1 cars in spring.

It felt like it got loads of attention pre-release, but then honestly I don’t think I’ve seen anyone mentioning it since. Odd, as it’s ace. Apologies/you’re welcome for assisting with adding to the buy list!
