What a wonderful pitch event. Thank you to the #DVPit team and all the wonderful authors and illustrators who participated to make it so enjoyable. Now that it's over, I want to share some slides I made since images were discouraged during the event. Namely character art and comps slide. 🧡

To the left, a couple is illustrated in early 19th century clothing, the man stands behind the woman and is handing off a book. The image is framed by wisteria. The title of the book is at the top and reads "Promises and Pageantry". The pitch is on the right and reads. "When Celine Wycliff makes a plan to avoid a match for herself, she enlists the help of fellow book-lover and social recluse, Daniel Moore, a trans man tired of living on the fringes of society.
