Thanks! You were right, turns out I just needed to trust the process.

I intended to finish this art of Chizuru in time for the Hakuouki series anniversary. But hey, Hakuouki technically has two anniversaries with the Shinkai release so it counts! #Hakuouki #Hakuoki #YukimuraChizuru #Chizuru

Yukimura Chizuru from Hakuouki. A girl with brown hair and eyes, wearing a pink kimono and white hakama pants stands against a blue gradient sky with arms stretched out to catch cherry blossom petals.

Yay! I'm glad! I couldn't decide which fit more so nothing wrong with having options. XP <3

I updated the chibi art I made for @galatunia.bsky.social with her new design! Alternate versions in the comments. I wanted to give her options on the supplies. #Chibi #CharacterDesign

Chibi art of a woman with black to purple and pink gradient hair, cat ears, big flower glasses, a black dress, and purple crocs holding an oversized purple handle brush with pink paint on it.

I wasn't sure if the piece looked better with or without a border for the extra 3D effect so I made both.

Chrom from Fire Emblem Awakening with an arm outstretched to the viewer with a smile on his face. The background is a cloudy blue sky with a bright sun shining behind him, casting a lens flare effect. A white border surrounds the piece with the hand and the top of his head overlapping it in a 3D effect.

Happy birthday Chrom! I couldn't resist drawing him again, its been too long! #Chrom #FireEmblem #FireEmblemAwakening

Thanks! You can probably tell I'm more comfortable shading the dark blue than the white of the original. XD

Part 2 of the Azura art I painted for her birthday. The Nohrian version of her outfit is so iconic that it didn't feel right only painting the white version. #Azura #FireEmblem #FireEmblemFates #FE14

Watercolor and color pencil art of a chibi of a woman with long blue hair and golden eyes sitting on a large bubble. She is wearing a dark blue dancers outfit with purple ribbons and gold accents and a dark blue veil.

For Azura's birthday I wanted to challenge myself to paint the bubble chibi art I did for her last year. I'm unsure which medium I prefer more but I'm happy with the result either way. Nohrian outfit coming soon in another post. #Azura #FireEmblemFates #FE14 #AzuraFIreEmblem #Watercolor #ColorPencil

Thanks! I think the piece of heart in this set is my favorite out of all the ones I painted. Either that or the Ocarina piece of heart.

Rosalind Briarstone @briarstoneart.bsky.social · 21/02/2025

The last set of my Zelda heart paintings. The ones from Twilight Princess have been the biggest challenge with the high contrast stained glass gradient they have but turned out to be my favorite result in the end. #LegendofZelda #TwilightPrincess #LoZTP #Watercolor #ColorPencil

A pair of hearts from the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess painted in watercolor and color pencil. Both have a gold border with a swirl pattern and a stained glass texture. The one on the left is part teal with only the center being pink (a piece of heart) and the other being pink towards the gold frame (full heart).

Part 2 of 3 of my watercolor Zelda hearts. Just in time for Valentine's Day, the heart container and piece of heart from Skyward Sword! I like that this heart container is the one that went on to be used in BotW and TotK but I miss the pieces of heart too! #LegendofZelda #SkywardSword #BotW #TotK

A pair of hearts made out of watercolor and color pencils. The one of the left is red and gold with a swirl pattern. The one of the right only has a red heart in the center with gray swirl patterns. Representing a full heart and piece of heart.

Rosalind Briarstone @briarstoneart.bsky.social · 07/02/2025

Thanks! For some reason red is the hardest color to scan and get to look right.

Rosalind Briarstone @briarstoneart.bsky.social · 07/02/2025

Watercolor and color pencil hearts based off Ocarina of Time and stained glass. I've wanted to paint Zelda hearts for a while and what better time to start than for February? #LegendofZelda #OcarinaofTime #Watercolor #LoZ #OoT

A watercolor and color pencil artwork of two hearts. Both have a blue border with one of the left having a small red heart that doesn't fill the frame (a piece of heart) and the other red heart fills the entire frame (a full heart). Drawn in a way to mimic stained glass.

Linktober 2024 Day 1: Mirror My first thought when I heard the prompt mirror was the magic mirror from Link to the Past. I imagine that Link probably had the reaction of "Why a bunny?" when he first transformed in the Dark World. #Linktober #LegendofZelda #LinktothePast #ZeldaUniverse
