Check out my first ever podcast appearance as an author! Give it a listen if you want to hear me talk about writing, pirates, historical (in)accuracies, and read a spicy section of Demon of the Deep (and possibly fumble reading the word 'cock' out loud). open.spotify.com/episode/3mnM...

I've become addicted to commissioning art of my characters, I fear. Someone please stage an intervention. (or buy my book so I can afford more art)

Since we're almost at the end of January I figured it's about time I gave a sales update for Demon of the Deep. DotD came out on October 15th of 2024 so it has been about 3 and a half months since it's release date, so here are it's sales (to date 1/27/25) 🧵

Going through my manuscript and editing out as many instances of the word 'was' as possible. This is mind-numbing.

Just finished reading ‘Don’t Let the Forest In’ by C.G. Drews and let me tell you I am genuinely distraught, this book has ruined my life and sanity. 5 stars

First post on Bluesky so I guess I will introduce myself! I'm Briar Belmont. I write spicy LGBTQ+ romance, and my debut book, Demon of the Deep is out now! It's a spicy MM romance that follows two rival pirate captains as they go from obsessed with revenge to obsessed with each other.
