I've been thinking about why team USA wasso bad last night, and I think I have a theory. Trump turned them into villains by intervening on their behalf. Maybe not for most Americans, but in the countries they play in, and among their colleagues. They weren't phycologically prepared to be villains.

Now that the field is set for November, all I can say is that I absolutely hate my choices for Senator. A 74 year old pro-Israel, AIPAC money taking, moderate Democrat incumbent versus a 70 year old Republican who also firmly supports Israel. Feels very Biden vs Trumpy to me.

16 years ago on this day I attended the Victory Day Parade in Moscow. It was a surreal experience for a gen x Navy Veteran that grew up on a healthy dose of Rocky IV and Red Dawn. An extremely rare sighting of the Russian doomsday plane in the pictures.
