This cycle comes to an end through proximity, understanding, and compassion. It the more difficult way, but it leads to life and flourishing for all.

Publicly shaming the victim. It is a tactic used by people of privilege in positions of power in order to squelch truth and hide behind their own lies. It has been used by these same two people in other situations in their private and public lives. It is no surprise they used it again.
