Same, I feel your pain! My Mom had an answering service my entire childhood!

My mom on the day of her retirement in 1982 for a story in our local newspaper. The phones were still live and would make that "beep beep beep sound loudly when they were left off the hooks for the photographer to take the picture!📸📞
