It’s complicated. It a homophone for a crude Irish slang word for a part of the human (female) anatomy. It’s not an especially “harsh” word… in fact (despite the meaning) it’s one that makes people giggle. Still: you wouldn’t use it in polite company. It’s very difficult to contextualise.
