Skinny Teeth I conjured this freak up for a short story collection. Tools Used: Apple Pencil 2 iPad Pro Procreate Drawing and Painting App for iPad Evolution Character Brush Set for Procreate, available here: www.brianladlee.com/product-page... #horrorart #procreate #art #blackandwhite

Black and white side view of a hunched over, balding creature with dark, bulging eyes, shocks of wild hair around the sides of his head, and a protruding, snout-like nose. His jaw opens wide to reveal sharp, skin-covered teeth and a long, black, tongue dripping a tendril of saliva. Deformed skin stretches against the face, forming deep grooves and wrinkles as it shrieks, and emerges from the shadows.

Interstellar Battle - 2016 A fun sci-fi illustration I painted in Procreate while developing my custom Evolution Brushes. I almost typed the words "from back in the day". Time flies. #art #scifi #digitalpainting #Procreate #space

A woman in a red, metal, armored spacesuit hovers in the air over a dusty, toxic landscape as a spaceship battle between two warring factions plays out behind her. The plasma jets shooting from her gloves and boots glow a bright green. Circular spaceships with four pink lights underneath, fire pink laser blasters at large black spaceships outfitted with green lights. The large black spaceships return fire with green laser blasts. The atmosphere is thick and red. A dim sun surrounded by a Dyson sphere that powers the civilization below hangs in the distance on the left side. In the distance on the right side, the outline of an extremely large planet can be seen through the thick, smoke and dust-filled air.

So this is Bluesky… and it’s awesome! This is my first post and it’s #PortfolioDay, so I’ve added some of my art. I work with traditional media (pens, pencils, paint, etc.) and digitally with a stylus and drawing apps. I’ve never used A.I. in my art or writing and never will. Cheers!🍻 #author #art

Grayed and weathered old Jacky Kincaid from my novel Newburgh Nights, sporting a dirty suit-jacket with a bowler’s hat, pointing towards you while standing over a campfire in an abandoned train station.

Black and white drawing of Baron Samedi smoking a cigar under the moonlight in a top-hat wearing a mojo bag necklace. Featured in Victoria Woods’ paranormal romance novel, Numinous.

The Journey - Distant silhouettes of a couple just before sunrise, embracing each other during a difficult time after a long walk on a tough road. This is a digital practice painting I created prior to painting the final version in acrylic for the Living Proof Exhibit, an organization that raises funds to support the art of cancer patients and survivors. The acrylic version was auctioned off at the exhibit to raise funds for the organization in 2021.

A fantasy heroine comic character wearing a purple costume while hovering in the night sky, shooting magenta lightning bolts from her fingertips.
