To be honest, I have felt for a few months that Scotland is being treated in a similar negative way to the small boats. Why any unionist thinks that this will make Scots feel all warm and fuzzy about the UK, baffles me. Self-determination should be a right.

There's no doubt that the WM parties are anti-Scottish. Their policies show us that. For me, even if this wasn't the case, I'd still want us to have the right to determine our own future - like other countries of the world. That list includes England, of course, as they can leave the UK at any time!

Yep. The very notion of "One Nation" ignores the many differences we have from England. The UK only ever worked when the constituent nations wanted mainly the same things. So Badenoch vows to fight the SNP "for our union". What does she mean by "our"? Well, the Tories haven't been voted in by Scotland for over 70 years and the people do not have a majority wanting to remove powers from Holyrood. So "our" union means "England's" union.
