I gave HBO’s Lanterns series a try. I came in really wanting to like it. But having watched nine episodes I hate it as much as Damon Lindalof hates the original IP. I didn’t go into it with much familiarity with the characters. I’m judging it on its own logic and world building. FUCKING TERRIBLE.

I think Apple fucked up with their release of TVOS 27. My Apple TV 4K First Generation probably COULD run it if Apple didn’t block it, but they didn’t give me a suitable upgrade path. My choice is stay on 26.6 or buy a nearly 4-year old design. If I’m going to replace it, I want a new one.
