Bluesky: On the one hand, it is the ultimate doomscrolling platform. On the other hand, there are boobies.

Perched somewhere betwixt kosmische, free jazz, and psychedelia, Isolationauts v2.0 is an improvisational ensemble of great power, strangeness, and versatility.

Weird. Of all the old demo tapes I've upload to YouTube, this is the one I was most hesitant about: It's extremely lo-fi, noisy, and clearly the work of drunks (well, one drunk [me] anyway). But it has, by my modest standards, really blown up in views, comments, and likes. Enjoy!

The Library Digest constitutes the very best of the best of The Vertigo Swirl's recorded improvisations in tribute to their much loved late bassist, occasional guitarist, songwriter, and occasional singer Mike Thompson.

Swirl 3. The pinnacle of The Vertigo Swirl's early days. The self-titled debut was just me revving up the machine, A New Swirled Record was Mike Thompson taking his rightful place in a transitional way, but Swirl 3 was a perfect symbiosis of our talents.
