Canon R7 Canon 800mm f11 is STM, When I started photography I misguidedly said I would never again use a crop sensor. Last year I changed my mind my mind after using the R7. The camera is very useful for a little more reach.

Münster Aasee two Egrets in front of some really tall reeds.From the very first photo I quickly realised what an amazing camera the R6 is. It totally blows the 5D out of the water and the ability to keep using my EF lenses with an adaptor made this camera a win win.

Choosing a camera to replace my broken 5D, I wanted to stay with canon and this time buy a new camera. The only camera in my price range was the R6. I ummed and ahhed for ages. The feeling of going downhill made for an agonising decision but eventually I accepted that there was no alternative.
