My friend and hero Brian House has spent the last few years building macrophones designed for recording ultra low frequency sound. His new album gets as close as it is possible to get to the voice of the 🌍🌎🌏 Record release in NYC!! new-ear.org/2025/10/04/r...

As the official release approaches, if you know any writers of whatever sort that might be into it, please help me get it out there?

The endeavor has come to mean a lot of things to me; it’s about the pandemic, it’s about my chronic illness, it’s about parenthood, and it’s about bearing witness to this radically uncertain moment for the planet and our political failure to meet it.

For the last several years, I’ve been working to capture ambient atmospheric infrasound, sound that’s always around us but too low-frequency for us to ordinarily hear. Now the record is (almost) here! Available for preorder, release 11/7 on Gruenrekorder. brianhouse.bandcamp.com/album/everyd...
