For a country where most things are cheap, beer in Thailand is ridiculously expensive. Just paid $10.81 for a goblet of locally brewed IPA. I know there are reasons, but I’m just astounded that I’ve run up a $20 bar tab already after a $4 taxi ride to the bar.

I’m still thinking about the brewery in Seoul that’s charging $88 for an embroidered ball cap with their logo on it. I thought it was a misprint on their mobile ordering page, but then I saw it in their display case for ₩120,000 and my jaw dropped.
