The impressively short 15 second drive plus almost throwing an interception on 3rd down also shows how Bo Nix really benefits from having a Peyton coach him. Only a select few coaches could win with his limited passing skills.

I am somewhat taken aback by the existence of critics of a device designed to lower the incidences of rape. It is almost like they are saying "rape is ok" which is totally repugnant.

reminds me of when William floyd got his knee blown up and wanted to walk off. I am afraid that he knows how bad it is and that he did not want his last scene of this season (and maybe his career) to be him getting carted off.

And I was in Santa Cruz very close to the boardwalk, so it lasted a long time. And to finish the story the bookcase did not fall because I stopped and held it so it would not fall. (Kids this is NOT recommended). The brain sometimes does strange things in stressful situations.

During loma prieta I was writing a document when things started to shake. I clearly remember thinking "what do I do?". Then I thought I need to get to a doorway. Soni stood up and moved towards the door. As I passed my non anchored bookcase I realized it was about to fall on me.

Yep. I am a "parent volunteer coach" for our sons team and I have had to field some pretty out there questions. I have wanted to say "if your kid was the next messi / ronaldo, you would already being living outside the US" but have never done so.

As a parent with a Soccer kid I know the type. We are just starting at the "not every kid will get playing time" level and some of parents are having a tough time of it.

One of the things that I have noticed in my career is that the kids who did not either play any sports growing up (even like rec soccer at age 8) can more often than not struggle on group projects. Little stevie also probably had a hard time getting picked for group projects growing up.

The whole language things really looks like part of the plan to screw up the deal for some other reason. I am trying to figure out what caused language to become an issue. Regulatory requiremetns of some kind that some donor doesn't want to deal with?

the whole tariffs are good thing is just mind boggling to me. It shows a fundamental lack of interest in history, and worse a total lack of understanding of how economics actually plays out in a global supply chain.

I support 100% knee shots to the lower abdominals for people filming / annoying folks wihtout consent. There are legit use cases for the visually impaired folks doing guided /assisted repair, things like assisted surgury. They don't make sense in the paws of a hormonal teenager.
