You have to be pretty stupid to think a gun would protect you if the government wanted you dead. Peaceful protest is the only thing that has ever worked. It is slow, painful and can be deadly, but the government has more powerful weapons than guns. They don't have anything more powerful than us.

"Dragon Slayer" also allows us to use the initials D.S. to make play on words. Democratic socialist can be made more approachable. Democracy Saved! Democrats Serve. Add in the knight mythology and it gives opportunity to use symbolism to our benefit.

The resistance needs a symbol/identity. I think we should be known as "Dragon Slayers" and our symbol should be the knight. Dragons are destructive and greedy, just like the oligarchs. The knight protects the people and kills the dragon so its hoard can be redistributed. Plus cool hats!

State sanctioned political violence is just fine. Anything from the right is state sanctioned, therefore we can simply say the only political violence they have to quell is from the left. Since the left commits far lower violence, they can simply declare victory without doing anything.

Gerrymandering isn't for the electoral college, it is for the House of Representatives. It determines who represents that district in the house. It affects the state house as well. The electoral college should be abolished so candidates have to appeal to more than a small handful of states.

This guarantees there will not be a peace deal until Putin is forced to stop. He will never agree to anything that prevents him from starting the war again. Nothing matters until Russia is stopped. This has nothing to do with a peace deal, only giving Ukraine an idea of what it can hope for. Peace only comes when Putin stops or is stopped. Pretending a peace deal is closer today than 3 years ago is all cope.

Greenland is not a popular issue in the US. Trump has not explained to the people why we need it and what we get by taking it. Venezuela at least has a dictator that is hard to justify protecting. He would only do this if he knows he will lose the election as he would be eviscerated, then removed.
