As promised for my #IndieAnimation project, I'm keeping a full disclosure of progress. Nothing HUGE in this one, but the project team is leaning into the art-style. Writing and cleanup is ongoing for the pitch/pilot. Once we get a green light, the push will continue. ko-fi.com/post/SEPTEMB...

A #HazbinHotelOC picture of Unity (UnityFyne) and Carmilla at a coffee shop. Both are blushing with Carmilla holding Unity's hand. Behind the counter, Ruya (OC of Xilimyth) is busy prepping a latte complete with Heart Latte-Art atop the drink.

Greysmoke Rising: The Magician is FINALLY being posted on AO3! Whether you have or have not read the book, here's yet another avenue to enjoy it! 💜 archiveofourown.org/series/6607306 #korps #villainsinvisors #furryfiction #mfbc

Cover for Greysmoke Rising: The Magician by Mabel Ramona. The design is meant to echo a tarot card, with the titular character, Mabel Greysmoke, at the center. She is wreathed in smoke from her smoldering cigar in one paw, while the other clasps a wicked looking kopis. Her hood is pulled up, and her eyes hidden from view, an eerie pink glow emanating from within. Behind her is a wreath of roses, and three sets of symbolic eyes staring down.

Gerald and I both know the importance of therapy, having grown up with a violent father, but we didn't have the means to pursue treatment until adulthood. We're hoping to help his kids grow into young adults with the right tools to manage their trauma, so they don't have to learn it later as we did.

Years of litigation costs are still dragging the family down, and both kids are now in therapy and working to heal the damage from years of trauma: they're doing well in school, music, and sports, and my brother is now looking to secure funding to ensure they can continue necessary trauma therapy.

Every kid deserves a peaceful home where they can thrive. My brother has been working hard to build a loving, safe home for his two kids, but the financial burden of rescuing his children from the violence and substance abuse perpetrated by their mother still weighs heavily on his family.

Canada, I love you. Your Rocky Mountains are very pretty. But you need to up your souvenir game. I mean, plenty of bear stuff. And moose. A good amount of beavers and even wolves. But hardly any cougar stuff. Like, I had to go digging to find anything related to my poor, neglected kitty brethren.
