I want to expand on this a little. Meta, as shitty as it is, isn't all that easy to delete for a lot of people, as this great thread explains. You may have been able to ditch it, but not everyone can (same with Amazon etc etc).

The problem is there are very few jobs you can get without some form of education, degree or not. There should be more advocates for paths outside of college, yes, but you’ll still need something for most of those jobs. Additionally people hate school but I don’t think ppl hate learning.
