Object permanence isn't an excuse for disconnection and lack of trying. If you use that as an excuse for not staying connected to people, then please know you just gotta do better.

Folks really be out here cutting corners on safety, creating artificial rushes and then be surprised when others are not willing to run themselves ragged at unnecessary risk for absolutely no reason. Breaking these capitalist white colonial patterns is VITAL if we don't wanna perpetuate harm.

TTRPG COMMUNITY I'm gonna be so fucking real. The way y'all dogwalk Black Femmes is atrocious, disgusting, and we deserve better. Especially in spaces that we are actively keeping afloat. Having us question rooms we are in, gaslighting, inflicting paranoia, intentionally hurting our social circles?

Hi! I got this caught up now & no running balance. Nothing short of a miracle. There’s nothing due for a few days now (approx. 4-5 days, due to the payment structure they put me on). Staying ahead of it accumulating is best. But anyway, we can still stay inside. Thank you for helping.

P.s. Lip service allyship is not allyship. If having a room with the same name is enough for you and you don't actually care if the people who need it are actually benefiting, you need to take a step back and consider why you care more about corporate reputation than material support for people. 7/6

When I started opening up about what was happening with The Intersection, I warned that PAX saying their would be one likely meant there would be a room with the name that lacked the actual intentionality and programming. The Intersection in name only. I'm so upset to be correct. 3/6

@streamforacause.bsky.social is a wonderful organization and I am glad that they are honest about their capabilities and scope. However, this means that ReedPop and PennyArcade have stopped providing opportunities and have put us back in the margins. And put a great org in a terrible position. 2/6

(I included alt txt since the op didn't) So while @officialpax.bsky.social still keeps The #PAX Together Intersection pages up for both West and #Unplugged it is clear that the version of the Intersection that was centered on opportunities for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, & disabled folks is gone. 🧵 1/6

A statement on a blue, purple, pink and orange background with an arcade game with SFAC on the top and a heart on the screen.

The lettering is white and has a translucent black background. The statement reads:

SfaC is honored to be stepping into a new role supporting The Intersection at PAX West 2026.

SFAC

We recognize the importance of The Intersection and the years of work that have gone into making it a meaningful space for Black, Brown, Queer, Disabled, and other historically marginalized and stigmatized members of the gaming community.

In May, We submitted a proposal to PAX to support the Intersection space, and we learned weeks ago that our proposal was accepted. We want to be transparent that The Intersection at PAX West 2026 will not be a continuation of the program exactly as it has existed in previous years. We do not currently have the capacity or resources to recreate its previous scope of programming and services, and we don't want to promise something we cannot responsibly deliver.

Instead, our goal is to carry forward the spirit of the space by creating a welcoming community room where people can gather, connect, create, and feel represented at PAX.

We have intentionally developed community programming and will share more details leading up to PAX!

We know this transition comes during a complicated moment, and we understand that people may have questions or concerns. We have tremendous respect for the people who built The Intersection and the community it has served. Our goal is not to replace that work, but to help ensure there is still a space at PAX where marginalized and stigmatized members of the gaming community can find connection and community.

This is a new chapter for the room, and we intend to approach it with care, honesty, and respect for the work that came before us!
