breakingjexter.bsky.social @breakingjexter.bsky.social · 22/10/2025It’s a good blind bidding rondel area control game. It just doesn’t get played for the following reasons - long play time & teach & table hog. I think the game is solid but it doesn’t hit the table as often cause it’s just not an easy to carry around casual experience 110
breakingjexter.bsky.social @breakingjexter.bsky.social · 17/10/2025I mean Unmatched has to be hands down the best category for this. 110
breakingjexter.bsky.social @breakingjexter.bsky.social · 06/10/2025Honestly this is a wonderful comic and so true …but it’s led me to downsize to a small backpack with one larger game and two smalls . It’s not worth carrying all that around 000

breakingjexter.bsky.social @breakingjexter.bsky.social · 04/04/2025#boardgames #boardgamesky lords of Vegas (10/10) it’s a top ten contender and possibly Goty. So much gambling fun with area control and negotiation mixed in. Duck and cover (7/10) and zany penguins (7/10) also played. Penguins was a hidden Cathala that reminded me of arboretum with drafting 010
breakingjexter.bsky.social @breakingjexter.bsky.social · 30/03/2025I would recommend going on YouTube and following the channel Cardboard East. He goes over a lot of Asian games pretty popular and recent 010
breakingjexter.bsky.social @breakingjexter.bsky.social · 30/03/2025This is the reason I got rid of a lot of solo games unfortunately (looking at you final girl). While nice , thinking about setting everything up just to lose in quick succession just was never worth the effort. Playing with others brings so much more joy 100
breakingjexter.bsky.social @breakingjexter.bsky.social · 30/03/2025#boardgames #boardgamesky today was Skymines (9/10) . I was really impressed by this investing game. breakingjexter.bsky.social @breakingjexter.bsky.social · 30/03/2025Consumer asks for Metroid to be shaken up. Producer shakes up Metroid. Consumer freaks out on internet that they miss old Metroid. Can never win these kind of catch 22s. 020
breakingjexter.bsky.social @breakingjexter.bsky.social · 29/03/2025#boardgames #boardgamesky last night was argent the consortium. 8/10 more interactive then your common worker placement. Nice wizardry anime style theme with some interesting hidden victory conditions 070

breakingjexter.bsky.social @breakingjexter.bsky.social · 15/03/2025Con day 3 : mesos (7/10) reef project (7/10) and dune imperium uprising (10/10). Dune is my favorite board game period. It’s always so tense and tactical and I ended up losing with a tiebreaker at 10 points. Every experience with it is a joy 010
