I found out there still is a selectable 5-8 player option in 8 Deluxe when playing on a Switch 1, but it just gives you this pop up instead. It’s immensely funny to imagine they only did this update, which was for their best selling game on the system btw, just to advertise the Switch 2 LOL

Ok yeah, I believe the variations actually slightly remix the map instead of just treating the game like how Relaxed/Normal/Fierce works between the modes, but it's still misleading to say "72 stages" if that's the case According to imonlyhereforpikmin, at least (I couldn't find it on the website)

The Japanese website mentions there being 12 sets being released, with three difficulty levels being referred to as individual "stages". While you could assume this is a mistranslation, the badge ID showing two medal slots for each wave seems to suggest it isn't

And this isn't even getting into how much of this DLC is just reused assets. Some parts literally just look straight up ripped not just room geometry wise, but also layout wise (this is literally just Sage Leaf floor 8, and there's a few other ones just straight up copied in the trailer)

Really though, I'm getting Booster Course Pass vibes given this is being released in waves and also looks to use assets from their respective mobile games I feel at least the reused assets means the development focus is still on 5 at the moment, which could be a good sign.

I wasn't really expecting Kirby to go into a more open-collectathon style, but I'm so down for it. I might be in the minority here, but even though I enjoyed Forgotten Land, I couldn't help but feel 3D Kirby could still go up from there, so hoping this one is even better!

I probably want to say Bowser X in Bowser's Inside Story The original fight already was cool enough, fighting against one of the main playable characters using the attacks you learned against you, but the rematch amps it up with a lot of cool new attacks/gimmicks and is very difficult.

Also apparently from Hawlo's guide, turning on motion controls makes Purples do a lot more damage to it for some reason. Not sure if this is strictly necessary, but I didn't come that close to killing it within the time limit before I tried it
