As an audio professional and gamer, I have feelings about "game key cards" or "dongles" or "license keys". Not a fan of online only license checks either like how NI runs an adb service in the background for some reason messing up any android dev by it enumerating as an emulator. Too many steps.

It's fairly comprehensive, modular routing, analysis and various DSP nodes... a web dev would have to be pretty keen on audio concepts to really take advantage of it, I'd assume there's not a huge overlap out there. Pretty slick that web apps can do all this though. www.w3.org/TR/webaudio-...

So I've been messing about with web audio, and I'm surprised how extensive it is. If one were to rig an interactive audio demo in web, it's also extremely accessible to anyone that you want to have check it out without needing them to install anything, you can host it and give someone a QR code.

It's in the hands of money people now, not audio people. I'd make sure to have a version that can work offline and keep it that way. Keep the install files and keys in personal storage and cross your fingers.

A proper image/photo of the real hardware or a reference for the controls? I might have an old print out of it with all the buttons labeled from the school days, we had a 4000 and a 9000j, I think the master bus was similar.
