-like a client who is disrespectful or makes you as an artist uncomfortable, or preserving your mental health, as being an artist can wear you down, especially over time But overall, just be respectful, and client/artist should be respectful back :)

Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but I believe that a commissioner to artist relationship should be cordial and inviting. It's more likely that clients will return if so I also believe that most artists should not act too transactional unless they have a good reason-
