Thank you! I'm a little annoyed the gradient doesn't show up as well on camera as it does in real life but I swear there is a dark grey to blue white transition with like 5 layers!

Mini makeup sponges! Does the same thing an airbrush does, a little slower but with a lot less fuss. There's plenty of sponge painting guides on Youtube. I'd give you more advise but I'm a newbie at it myself, this project was an excuse to try it but its LOVELY and smooth as long as you use layers.

I know I haven't finished the bases yet but I was too excited to show them off. Bases will be the same as my Iron Warriors. Please feel free to give honest feedback, it was my first time using a sponge to paint armour and first time painting white armour in general. MANY MANY LAYERS of white!

Your way definitely has the potential to be way better than mine! Mine takes 3-4 different wash steps with contrast/speedpaint to get the look I like and that's a lot of effort for a 'fast' process. I'm trying to find a quicker way to paint these with my right eye problems limiting hobby time.

Mainly looking for feedback on the skin, since so little else is even close to done. I zenithal primed black, grey and white. Then I used a thinned down speedpaint pink as the base, after, I used to thin coats of green. Wanted the pink to show through in the deeper recesses.

Sorry I haven't posted for a while. I've had an eye problem in my right eye that causes me a lot of pain if I focus for too long, so I haven't painted much. Here is a WIP of my 1st unit of fodder for my Turnip28 warband. Still got some finishing touches to do. #turnip28 #miniaturepainting #nerdlings

You're more than welcome! I hope it turns out as good as you have them in your minds eye! If you're going to use oil/enamel weathering, make sure to put down a satin varnish first to protect the layers of paint and act as a 'save point'. 😋
