@chiswick.bsky.social came along to volunteer as well, and got out on a motorcycle for the first time! Not many can say their first ride was part of a 24 hour endurance race and I'm super proud of them for getting out there!

Last weekend I raced in the Northwest Minimoto 24 hour endurance race! Went got off to a great start and held 1st in class for most of the 1st 6 hours before having a catastrophic brake failure. We repaired it but lost 2 hours and dropped to 11th, but fought our way back to 4th in class!

The race season got off to a rocky start, but we've been making the most of it! In race one we missed 3rd place by less that 14 sec after 6 hours and a number of issues. In race 2 we fought through a lot of rain to bring home 2nd despite the wheel coming apart in the closing minutes!

Tesla stereotypes strike again. Dude pretty clearly trying to commit insurance fraud cut in front of me and brake checked me. The in car footage leading up to the accident was missing, but there was footage starting right after. Sussy as fuck.
