Do they maybe use it to relate views that are just click bait? I don't use it because it was abusive, vile and depressing. But I'm certain all journalists,news organisations, political parties and political analysts use it. Because they have to....

It wasn't in the manifesto. And we still have our 20 odd percent of Loud Brexit/ Trump style cultists and our foreign owned MSM. Never mind social media. And the last thing we need now is another divisive policy. He's keeping all options open, working with EU. He's doing OK in a difficult time IMO

At least we were able to get rid of our 2 recent appalling PM's without a public vote in UK - their own colleagues had reached the end of their tether and did it themselves. I'm presuming it can't work that way in US, can it?

You are right of course. I was talking about the public finances paying for his revenge on Law firms that got the better of him... and you are talking about the multi million dollar golf weekends with special guests which you are paying for also.

I think it's just called old fashioned diplomacy with US. Starmer has ceded nothing, promised nothing, done nothing that harms us.He has made no enemies whilst getting closer to our natural trading and security partners. IMO

Today, I have also encountered two lovely big clumps of frogs spawn in our pond. And a badger skull out walking, encapsulated by a dessicated badger. Which my dog rolled in . Copiously. The rest of the day was hosepipe, shampoo, resentment and exhaustion......
