Celebrated spring early yesterday. Took the Spyder out on my local mountain roads - 550 and 77. Hit a few whoop-de-dos - hills on the road that you don’t see where they go and they drop suddenly leaving your stomach behind!

Last good morning all! As Anne Lister said, “I rise above it” and “hope”. And also remember to resist in any safe way you can!

Have a wee look in the mirror, @time-magazine.bsky.social, and ask yourselves one question. Who was more deserving of Person of the Year - an adjudged sex offender, or a woman who incredibly bravely testified against her rapists? Your shame will live forever.

🇵🇱🏳️‍🌈Poland’s first LGBTQ+ museum has opened in Warsaw. It marks a significant moment for the country as its politics shifts back to the centre following a decade of right-wing populist rule.

A while back WotSeries uncovered a likely Couladin audition script. It is possible that the dialogue matches this scene from #TheWheelOfTime season 3 teaser trailer (pictured below). #WotSkies

Image from The Wheel of Time Season 3, featuring Josha Stradowski as Rand al’Thor. Rand stands in a desert landscape, wearing a tan shirt and a weathered coat, with a determined expression. In the background, Couladin and other Aiel warriors and others are gathered near stone steps in the barren desert. Below the image is this dialogue:

Couladin: ‘You would have us declare our allegiance to a wetlander.’
Aiel: ‘It is a prophecy foretold…’
Couladin (interrupts): ‘A prophecy, three thousand years old, translated from a dead language, passed down generations, from mouth to mouth, twisted, misinterpreted to fit around this imposter. Only you were fool enough to believe him. But I know the truth. I have entered Rhuidean; I have seen our people’s past and our future.’
Aiel: ‘You’ve disobeyed the Wise Ones by entering Rhuidean without permission.’
Couladin: ‘Yes, without! Why not? He Who Comes with the Dawn brings change, does he not?’
Aiel: ‘You call yourself He Who Comes with the Dawn, then tell me, what did you see there?’
Couladin: ‘I will speak of it with no one. Not even you. But what I saw was holy. I am holy. I know the glory of our people’s past. The glory that I will bring back to us. I am Couladin of the Domai sept of the Shaido Aiel. I am He Who Comes with the Dawn. Now, bow before me.’

BREAKING: the show officially announces actor Shohreh Aghdashloo as Elaida do Avriny a’Roihan. Please excerpt from the official press release. #TheWheelOfTime #WotSkies

A photo of the actress Shohreh Aghdashloo with text reading: "Series news: Shohreh Aghdashloo is Elaida in The Wheel of Time Season 3. Amazon MGM Studios."

From the press release: Elaida is a ruthlessly powerful Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah, as proficient in politicking as she is in channeling. She has a deep history with Moiraine (Pike) and Siuan (Sophie Okonedo), and scores to settle with both of them when she returns to the White Tower. Elaida is someone who believes in ends over means, and is willing to do anything to achieve what she envisions to be the greater good.
