I think my cactus is giving me the finger. Actually, I'm glad to see the new growth. I found it uprooted, shriveled and desperate at the side of a bike trail. I tried to bring it home, but got spiked. I went back up with a box to bring it home and see if I could save it. That was November.

This was so funny at the time, and I couldn't tell anyone why. I was working at Forest Lawn and the Christmas party theme was "In the Park." We had a popcorn and churro carts, and a caricature artist who drew this picture before they found out who I was (I added the color). LOL!🤣
