Looks like it’s gonna be a beauteous sunny day in Hamilton!! I got my Scott Hunter tee in and hubby and I are heading out on a walking tour of #HeatedRivalry filming sites as I type this. If you’re not ready for me to be fully obnoxious about this on the Lord’s day, better mute me for a bit!!

The (soap) operatic way all the various story threads of #TheBorgias incredible second season crash together into one epic climax — topped off with a WILD cliffhanger from the gods — is an utter marvel to behold, you all!

Traveling with hubby is most pleasing, as he somehow has access to a ritzy airport lounge where we are currently enjoying a full culinary EXPERIENCE. See you commoners on the flip side!! 👋 (Next stop: Toronto, baby!!) 😗

Not a single Cliff Marleau Vitali sighting this past week either 😠 though the character got name-checked by his stepdaughter-to-be in scenes she shared with her aunt and granny. That’s something, I guess! #DAYS

Ep 5 just premiered in Japan at the top of the hour, and the English translation of the post about it on the streamer’s Insta page is sending me into ORBIT 🤣🤣

121

Brandon's Buzz @brandonsbuzz.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I’ve not (yet) made a comprehensive list, but there are no fewer than one dozen legitimately breathtaking camera shots across #HeatedRivalry ’s first season, perhaps none more so than the first time Scott Hunter’s face squeaks into frame after (maybe) overhearing Ilya slipping Shane his room number.

Brandon's Buzz @brandonsbuzz.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

This one's wild and woolly, y'all! Scott Hunter is Scott Hunter. Kip Grady ... doesn't come along until near the end, and in the meantime, Scott has fallen ass over teakettle in love with ... one Shane Hollander. (And, yup, it's every single bit as much of a mess as you're imagining!)

(1) this adds credence to my burgeoning and heretofore unvoiced theory that Trina’s stalker is actually that infernal Esme (2) bitch, you are NOT winning the 2027 Guest Actor Daytime Emmy as a result of this, so get that notion out of your mind right effing NOW, Alley! Domo arigato, U-Next! I was starting to think that the Japanese streamer’s social media intern just hated Skip, but thirteen full days after #HeatedRivalry ‘s third episode made its drop, we finally get to eavesdrop the meet-cute of the millennium, with a little Asian flair. 🥰🥰

Hubby and I are popping up to Toronto next weekend to, among other endeavors, do a walking tour of filming sites, so why the hell not indulge in a sixth rewatch of #HeatedRivalry in honor of the event! (Even got my François Under Armour hoodie on to prove I’m taking this extra seriously!) 👀

Kinda wild of #DAYS to trumpet Franco Lo Presti’s hiring, debut his character on a Monday, and then not show him a single other time the whole rest of the WEEK, a perfect •fuck you• to lapsed viewers and/or cazh #HeatedRivalry fans who might be checking in for the first time in a while or at all. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Anyway, if you ever have occasion to spend an evening in the company of author Josh Silver, DO seize it. The man is an absolute hoot, and is sharp as a shiny tack. Absolutely DYING to dig my nails into FRUIT FLY, his debut adult novel.

Meanwhile, in utterly devastating news this morning, François — per his Instagram — has apparently upgraded to the iPhone 18. RIP, François’ cosmic orange phone. 😭😭😭

111

Brandon's Buzz @brandonsbuzz.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

The author of the time-travel Skip fic I’ve been following let us know in the Skip Discord the other day that he or she has mapped out the remainder of the story, and there is now an end date in sight: AO3 informs that we can expect 30 chapters of this! 👀

121

Brandon's Buzz @brandonsbuzz.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Operation François’ Filmography been on a break this summer, as I have been making my way through #TheBorgias (and, honestly, I’ve been slow-walking THAT because only 29 episodes got made, and François is so exceptional in it that I basically don’t want it to end.) (I have 11 episodes remaining.) 😭

121

Brandon's Buzz @brandonsbuzz.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

A real “Hush up, 5s — a 10 just walked in!” moment right here. 🤣 WWD clocks what was already wholly clear: le roi François had all these hoes quaking in their BOOTS — very deeply correctly so!! — when he entered the building for last night’s Swarovski event.

111

Brandon's Buzz @brandonsbuzz.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

I can’t say I’m super •duper• crazy about François’ look from last night (at a NYFW event for Swarovski) — he and his stylist LOVE themselves a loose, poofy shirt even when his magnificent torso and nonexistent waist will more than support something more tailored and form-fitting — >>

111

Brandon's Buzz @brandonsbuzz.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Each wave of #HeatedRivalry S2 casting announcements that do not include Eric Bennett moves me an inch closer to convinced that a Skip/Eric/Kyle spinoff is happening and they are waiting until the mothership is done filming to break that news. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Most heartfelt congrats to soap alum Tom Pelphrey for picking up the Drama Supporting Actor Emmy that I have •zero• doubt François Arnaud would have won had the Academy allowed him and his show to be eligible. Will I hold a grudge about this for the rest of my breathing days? Signs point to yep! 😭

Should I be charitable and just zip it, or should I go with my gut and renew my declaration that these folks are the absolute dumbest m****rf****rs in the entire business of making network television ??? 🤔

111

Brandon's Buzz @brandonsbuzz.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Case in point, re: François in monochrome (just to be an annoying twit on a Saturday morning and circle back to this!) — this flawless look ⬇️ from Moncler’s NYFW party on Thursday night is just dazzling. The hair? The slight scowl? That badass $1800 denim shacket? Perfection, each and all. 🤌🏼

111

Brandon's Buzz @brandonsbuzz.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Hey, here’s an instance where François really needs to exercise veto power with his usually dependable stylist: le roi’s NYFW takeover proceeds with a rare sartorial miss. He can rock the monochromatic look when the chroma in question is dark (black, navy, et al), but olive just hurts my eyes. 😭

111

Brandon's Buzz @brandonsbuzz.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Luxuriated in the latest chapter of this ⬇️ Skip fic on the elliptical earlier, and gahhhhh the swoonworthiness is at an all-time high: Scott invites Kip over and makes him dinner (a Thai soup that he knows Future Kip will flip for). Kip gets a tad tipsy and decides to lay it all on the table. 😭

Welp, asked and answered! That big ol’ silver bird from last night carried François and his bedazzled hoodie to 🥁🥁🥁 New York City and deposited him (and his flawless coiff) (and his tastefully slutty hoop earring) right into the middle of fall Fashion Week.

Last week, François Arnaud and his (possible? potential? apparent?) new romantic interest traded dueling full moon snaps on their respective instas (pix 1, 2 ⬇️ below). Three days ago: dueling beach scenes (3,4). Last night? Dueling sunset vistas (5,6)!! 🤣🥹

121

Brandon's Buzz @brandonsbuzz.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

François posted an Insta story about his dog last night, but I was too busy 🥴🥴 zooming in on the (incredible, 12/10, absolutely no notes) distressed crop top he was wearing to worry about that. 😍 >>

111

Brandon's Buzz @brandonsbuzz.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Hubby went hiking today and missed my whole Bunny!Scott skeet saga. He’s catching himself up now, and to suggest that he’s nonplussed by it all feels like a vast understatement! 🤣

011

Brandon's Buzz @brandonsbuzz.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

BTW, I broke down and gave one of the Scott Hunter bunny fics a real chance and gosh-freakin-DAMMIT: the damn thing totally snuck up and LEVELED me. No way can I explain what’s happening, and tread carefully if you are triggered by suicidal ideation of any sort, but I guess this is worth a glance. 🤷🏻‍♂️
