@oh8.bsky.social Hey dude! Good meeting you at the Art Market the other day! I've been really enjoying the sketchbook I got from you. I would've e-mailed you, but it turns out I lost your card. You mentioned using a textured iPad screen protector -- could you tell me which one?

Where have I been? Not posting here, that's for sure! Finally finished #Bloodborne! Loved it of course, and rolled straight into NG+. Here's a couple quick Hunter sketches.

This is exactly how I finally got my comic Bastard Planet going. Over a decade of trying to get all my ducks in a row to start a comic, and nothing. But finally, deciding to just take a half-baked idea and start drawing pages? We're off to the races!

I desperately need some new websites. So sick of Wordpress. I've been playing around with some static site generators like #eleventy and #hugo. Not super easy stuff, for someone who really isn't a #wevdev, but the philosophy seems right up my alley.

I guess I haven't really posted about this on Bluesky yet, but I've got a sci-fi action/adventure webcomic called Bastard Planet, that I invite everyone to check out! Updates Fridays, for as long as I can keep that up. Start here if you're new: bastardplanet.com #webcomics #bastardplanet #scifi

Quick #joker sketch that grew out of a little doodle. Happy with the quick and dirty approach I've been taking lately. It's VERY quick, and not really THAT dirty. #joker #batman #sketch #dccomics #batfamily

Man, I really wish we could edit posts on Bluesky. Half the time I'm posting art, I write a little comment and forget to upload the art, then have to delete the post!

Actual pro tip: the best way to break into any creative profession is by helping to support and advance other creators. Your peers are not your adversaries. They are your support group.

Fun little #astarion drawing from #baldursgate3. #bg3 I'm envious of the people who seem to toss off little character vignettes in their fanart so easily. I've always just kinda drawn them standing there. But their little phrases they say when you move them around give something to hold onto.

The funniest thing is when I'm walking my cat, and he tries to walk, but he's stepping on his leash, and he keeps pulling but goes nowhere.

Here's Karlach! I've done a few of her so far, but they all came out pretty wild. This was one sketchy linework pass and some blobby colors, and I probably wouldn't do it exactly that way again, but it has potential. Anyway, Karlach rules. More to come. #karlach #bg3 #baldursgate3 #bg3fanart #fanart

finished this tief in between comms, I'm moderately pleased with how it turned out

Recieved some bad news that my short Non-Union gig will be ending MUCH EARLIER than I anticipated. Of course it is, in this current state of the Industry... I dont want to stress anymore right now, BUT at least I'll ping out I WILL BE LOOKING FOR WORK VERY SOON (again) 😔👋

I love my classic comic-book inking art style, but it's been feeling stale lately, and I've been wanting to try out some new approaches. These #baldursgate3 characters I've been doodling lately have been a great opportunity to mess around with some new stuff.
