As long as you stay away from the Yukon, BC, Alberta, the western US, Central America, and most of South America, you should be fine. But in all seriousness, if mountain lions were an actual threat to people, there’d be a lot more attacks. And that just isn’t the case. They keep to themselves.

I recently led a lynx photo tour and this was one of the highlights. This lynx is feeding on its sibling that was unfortunately killed by a vehicle.
