Phase B kicks off this week. Plan: nine "foundation" steps before any code gets written. Captures the cozy-game research, locks the tool names, runs three technical spikes (Terrain3D + decals; spatial bucket at 1700 pieces; soft slow-time integration). Then the rebuild begins 🌿

This week's least glamorous solo-dev wins: — Paid the Steam Direct fee. 30-day cooldown to Coming Soon page. — Accountants are pulling our Cert of Good Standing for the US tax claim. — First £90 artwork commissioned — Sorrell, the tutorial guide, in progress. Phase A: done. 🌿

Bramblewood & Co. got the studio greenlight this week 🌿 Now the honest part: I'm scrapping the first-person build mode and rebuilding it as an overhead "Drafting" view. Decorating your shop while standing inside it never felt right. Steam Coming Soon page in ~5 weeks.

Cosy / sim devs and players: when you find a new game's Steam page, what's the ONE thing on it that makes you wishlist on the spot vs bounce? Asking because we're 5 weeks out from putting up our own and want to get it right. Genuinely taking notes.

Tiny shop-sim moment from Bramblewood & Co.: shelves now refuse unpackaged stock and politely point you at the packaging bench. Small detail, big "this feels real" payoff. The kind of thing that makes a sim feel like a place, not a checklist.

New devlog up 🌿 — ninety-six items wired in, the paper-card UV bug debugged at 6pm on a Monday, and Godot 4.4. The orange peel dish is on the list. Read it: www.binaryplusstudios.co.uk/devlog/…
