Earlier this year I made the trek out to see the filming location of the 2015 E3 Star Fox Zero announcement in Kyoto. Very surreal experience. Only minor changes have been made in the past decade, it has overall been very well preserved.

I did this little watercolor a couple years ago by the Ikebukuro station then was recently flipping through a book of illustrations by Eguchi Hisashi and found a piece he did that was from a perspective directly across the street from mine.
