There’s something happening in the #ancestry offices 😉. Normally this happens in archives and libraries, but occasionally some of the digitisation work happens in the London office. It is very cool to witness the birth of digital collections 😎

I had the privilege of screening the wonderful #DNAJourney episode featuring @robbeckett.bsky.social and @romeshranganathan.bsky.social to a US audience last week and they LOVED it. Some stories (and talent) are universal ❤️

Hate is easy. Love is hard. The world needs us all to do the work.

#genealogy #familyhistory #manhattanproject

British-based television production company Woodcut Media are making a programme about the Manhattan Project for the UK network Channel Four to mark the 80th anniversary of the dropping of the first atomic bomb in August 1945. They are interested in hearing from anyone with a connection to the Project - perhaps your parent was a British scientist involved in nuclear physics in the 1940s or was one of the thousands who worked at the three Manhattan Project bases at Los Alamos, Oak Ridge and Hanford, or maybe you grew up there. If you feel you have a story to tell, email the production team at this address: production@woodcutmedia.com
