I love how his scales look in the sunlight, too! It was magical seeing you bring him to life. Thank you so much!!!

To capture the plasma clouds in more detail, I also recorded a video from my telescope. Although atmospheric distortion caused quite a lot of shimmering, I was delighted to see so many eruptions. We're currently near the solar maximum, so it was the perfect time to see these during an eclipse!

Spain was absolutely beautiful, and we were very fortunate to have such beautiful views of the eclipse from Argüeso!

I'd love to claim the second, and it's not time-sensitive!
A reference illustration of a bronze dragon. Viewed from the side and at 3/4, his wings and fins are tarnished green. His scales are colored in earthy tones, weathered from light to dark brown as if a bronze sculpture left out in the rain.

The view of the total solar eclipse from Spain was unbelievable. Low on the horizon, it looked so much bigger than when I last saw one directly overhead. The ring seemed much brighter, too. I wonder if the Moon was further away from the Earth this time?
The last sliver of the sun, orange through my camera's solar filter, disappears behind the moon.During totality, I captured the prominences, glowing jets of plasma that erupt thousands of kilometers above the surface of the sun.As the moon passes further across the sun, clouds encroach on our view of totality. Light blooms from behind the moon's passing, but the prominences on the leading edge remain visible.

Is there any chance you are running a version of the app that is three years out of date? (I know how much of a pain automatic updates can be, but I think it is the source of the issue you are seeing.)

Kicking off my #astrophotography thread with an hour of visible light from Horsehead Nebula (IC434) and Flame Nebula (NGC2024). It appears in the northern hemisphere's night sky, on the right side of Orion's Belt, next to Alnitak (the brightest star in this image).
A true-color photograph of two cloudy nebulae. The Flame Nebula is an emission nebula whose dust and gases are back-lit by a bright O-type star that it obscures from direct observation. Dust in the Horsehead Nebula creates the namesake silhouette against the red glow of Hydrogen-α

Wow, I've never seen so many sunspots at once! This morning's CME was wild. I can't wait to see the photos people capture tonight!
A true-color image of the sun showing two distinct clusters of sunspots. The group closest to the center is the wake of this morning's coronal mass ejection, which will cause significant geomagnetic activity tonight. I captured this photograph Monday afternoon, January 19, 2026. 1/1000th second exposure, ND 1,000,000 filter.

Hi Oku! I'm out shooting the Flame Nebula right now! Orion is right next door.
The Great Orion Nebula in the bottom left, and the Flame Nebula in the top right. Orion is bright, white at its center with red fringes that give it the semblance of a rose. The Flame Nebula is dimmer, its reds and oranges resembling the smoldering of embers.

Post your sona *not* smiling. Keden doesn't mind the company, but it's too early in the morning for toothy grins. 🎨 by Ket-DawnAtSunset

C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) was beautiful tonight -- And you can see it too! Grab a pair of binoculars, and look west just after sunset. It will be near the bright star Arcturus for the next three days, which is your best chance to see it!
A bright green comet trails a translucent tail of very faint blue against a black sky dotted with mostly yellow stars. The green is caused by di-carbon formed when solar wind meets the icy surface of the comet. I photographed it with my Sony A7iii, with a 600mm lens at f/6.3 for a thirty second exposure time.

What an incredible shot! Just getting *one* hummingbird in focus is a feat. I've never seen two photographed like this! #hummingbirds #BirdOfTheDay

Sunlight illuminates the iridescent pink gorget and green back of the hummingbird. The orange tree's white flowers are clustered in the center of the frame, and behind its waxy leaves, two oranges glow in the shadows.

Keden definitely started out as a 3.5e Bronze Dragon from Lockwood's art in Draconomicon. 🎨 by Maryn

Gender is a spectrum, and so is sex! This article does an excellent job illustrating the biological variability that modern medicine and genomics understands today: www.scientificamerican.com/article/beyo...
A large scientific graphic illustrating the full spectrum of variation in human primary, secondary, and tertiary sex characteristics. Separate from the spectrum of sex, it also illustrates gender identity as a spectrum ranging from female, to nonbinary, to male.

The December 20th update changed the placement and size of the upper controls (check and X) for the crop activity. It is now out of bounds for Android users without dynamic system tray. I can barely click it if my system tray is hidden.

Keden has appeared in multiple settings, but always as a helper who offers assistance in dire times. Whether it's rescuing adventures from the bottom of a pit trap, or repairing a merchant's cart on the side of the road, you can count on him to ask for nothing in return but a story. 🎨-ItsJesThomas
A western dragon with earth toned hide wears leather gear that was clearly made for him. Gloves protect front and hindpaws with five digits each, and a fitted vest allows the dragon to carry equipment against his chest. He's holding a rope, and has his wings spread as if coming in for a heroic landing.

The site operators have regained control of the domain and will bring it back up soon. The site itself was not hacked, but their domain registration was temporarily redirected to a third party. The underlying FA servers should be safe, once the site comes back up.

Did some geomagnetic storm chasing, spent the night on a volcano, watched the stars go by. It was wonderful.
