The Hot Air Balloons were out today, drawing our eyes to the sky and reminding us all of how wonderful the world around us can be. The infinite compassion never abandons us, and the light always touches us. We are all the target of that compassion. Also balloons are pretty neat!

The Covid.gov site now directs to a conspiracy and hit page on the White houses website. I remember being a paramedic during those first months, the human tragedy of it all and we now as a country appear to the rest of the world to just be science/medicine hating bumpkins.

There is a deeply misunderstood aspect of medicine in our general culture that with a 80's style montage all diseases are curable, and that somehow it doesn't actually take 50+ years to start to understand how one thing biologically complex bodies work.

One of my favorite sayings in Shinshu is: 自信教人信 - Jishinkyōninshin "To know your faith and share that faith" We are not only encouraged to take the time to feel universally embracing nature of the Nembutsu but then to also share this knowledge and practice with others without discrimination.
